I have lost some friends this year 2024 and seen others whose health has deteriorated suddenly (we are all in our 70's) so I have had to release them. My partner and I feel so blessed that we are still self-sufficient, independent and mobile. We are vegetarians, don't smoke or drink spirits and try to practice Buddhism as much as we can, which at this time, in Western society, can be testing. I am convinced that having a sense of humour and being flexible in my outlook greatly helps both mentally and physically. We see each day as a new adventure, never knowing what is just around the corner. Nostradamus believed the Golden Age would start from 2025. We're not quite there yet, there is still more suffering ahead for many but let us remember and be grateful for all the blessings we have, from beautiful possessions and sufficient income to awareness and a deep knowledge that we are always guided by a Loving Hand and Spirit is always with us. Together, in Joy and Peace, let us await 2025.
